Catechism Association (Sunday Catechism)

The catechism is taught to our children in our church after the holy mass on Sundays. We have 15 classes. The beneficiaries of these Sunday classes are the children belonging to the age group between 5 and 21. The life of Christ, parables in the gospel, bible text, and other prepared relevant subjects are taught to children. There are 15 teachers who are effectively handling the classes. The catechism classes contribute to the basic faith formation.

Christian Life Community (CLC)

CLC is the international movement in which men are the members. In our church at kallukoottam, this movement started functioning from the year 1965 by women and 1978 by men, and has been functioning effectively. They read the signs of the time and respond accordingly. At each and every meeting they set a goal and take a mode of function. CLC in our parish has witnessed its silver jubilee in the year 1990 by women, and by their counter parts in the year 2005. Bishop of Kottar, Rev. Leon A. Dharmaraj (late) attended both jubilee celebrations and blessed the members.
